Bible Study Resources

We aim to equip women to study God's Word with confidence and passion, discovering who the Living God is and who we are in light of Him. These are Bible studies written by one of our leaders, Darla Butterfield. They are a workbook format, designed with questions to lead you through the original context to further your understanding and apply what you're learning. They may be completed either on your own or in a small group setting and are available for purchase through Amazon.

Arise Women's Ministry also provides free teaching videos to accompany the study Joseph: God's Faithfulness in the Waiting.

In the life of Joseph, we see God's faithfulness through difficult circumstances and seasons of waiting. Joseph is given dreams as a teenager, yet finds himself years later in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Through everything that Joseph experienced, God was with him and had a bigger plan for his life than he may ever have imagined. In this 10-Session workbook Bible study we'll explore the life of Joseph, journey with him through his seasons of waiting, and discover his final resting place. We'll reflect on God's sovereignty in Joseph's life and how God is faithful and sovereign in our own lives today.

Moses: God's Faithfulness in the Wilderness

Coming Soon: Many of us are familiar with the epic scene of God parting the Red Sea and Moses leading the people out of slavery in Egypt on a journey into the Promised Land, but there's so much more that Moses experienced during his life that isn't always captured in the Sunday School lessons you may have have learned. In this study we'll follow Moses' story from the baby floating in the basket down the Nile, through his years of waiting in the wilderness, unable to enter the Promised Land, and see how God Himself buries Moses. We'll learn of God's character through it all and how He is consistently faithful, even in our wilderness seasons.
