About the Event

We are so excited about our Fall Retreat to the coast! Let's encounter Jesus and hear from Him together at this beautiful location and let's enjoy each other's company!

We will meet at West Salem Christian Church at 5:00 PM on Friday, October 6th, and then carpool to Hutchins House at Winema Christian Camp. The retreat includes dinner Friday, breakfast/lunch/dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday before we check out at 11:00 AM. We will watch a three-session video series throughout the weekend called "Finding Deep and Wide" with Shellie Rushing Tomlinson as the video teacher. We will have a group discussion time after each video. There will also be time during the weekend to visit, head down the hill to the beach, play games, and have some quiet time alone with the Lord. There is room for 13 women in the cabin, so if you want to go, register ASAP! The deadline to register is September 18th.

Please note: all beds are bunk beds and you will need to bring your own bedding.

The cost of the retreat is $125 with $50 due upon registration. After registering for the event, please go to the "Giving" page on our website and click "GIVE." You can pay the $50 registration fee by specifying on the dropdown menu "Registration for Women's Retreat 2023." The remainder of the fee will be due before October 6th when the retreat begins. You can pay in full at any time by using the same method of going to the "Giving" tab on our website.

Here is the description of the teaching from "Finding Deep and Wide": In Finding Deep and Wide, Shellie invites you to stop trying to please God, and be beautifully transformed by Him instead. We’re meant to live in such ongoing satisfaction in Jesus and transformation by Jesus that others are drawn to Him through us―and all without joining a convent, hauling our sleeping bags to church, or barricading ourselves in the bathroom with our Bibles and prayer journals. The truth is that we can invest in all those religious activities and still be God-starved refugees going through the motions unless we learn how to trust Jesus to do in us what God asks of us.

Arise women, will you join us for the weekend?
