Bible Study on the Book of Acts

The book of Acts is a historical narrative detailing the foundation of the Church after Christ's ascension to heaven. It covers a period of about 30 years, from around AD 30 to AD 60. It begins with Jesus's post-resurrection appearances to His diciples and concludes with Paul's imprisonment in Rome. The book of Acts shares how the gospel message speads like wildfire when God's people preach it unashamedly and live according to His ways. It describes the arrival of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Acts is not intended to be a handbook on how to do church, but rather it teaches the nature, mission, power and potential of the Church.
