He's a BIG God!
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.”
Psalm 19:1-2 (NIV)

Arise and shine, dear one! God is with you!
Lately I’ve had moments where I’m out on a walk or driving home and pouring out my heart to the Lord, crying out to the One who sees me, and then I’ll glimpse a rainbow in the sky or a beautiful sunset. As my gaze drifts to the beauty of nature around me, I’m reminded of the Creator of it all. In my prayers I’m speaking directly to the designer of the universe; the One who placed every star in the sky. If He is big enough to control the crashing waves of the ocean and the vast array of planets in the universe, He’s also big enough to handle any situation in my own life.
How big is your view of God? Do you see Him as all-powerful, where nothing is impossible for Him? Do you doubt His ability to provide and show up in your life, even when His plans don’t look like your plans? Do you think what you’re facing is too big for Him?
Spend some time outside, look up, and remember the One who made the heavens. Take comfort in the knowledge that your life is in His capable hands, the same hands that formed the moon and the stars and knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He’s got you, dear one. He’s a BIG God!
