Jesus Can Do Anything

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

Arise and shine, dear one! God is with you!

The delight in my daughter's eyes was contagious as she handed me her craft from church. Colorful scribbles decorated the printed words: "Jesus can do anything!" I smiled, spoke those words of Truth back over her, and carefully tucked her artwork away for safekeeping. What she didn't know in that moment was how much her mama needed those words.

Years later, that little craft now sits beside my bathroom mirror… a constant reminder not to doubt the all-powerful God I serve. It's so easy to impose our human limitations on God, isn't it? But Paul reminds us in Ephesians that God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine. He is beyond limits, and nothing can stop His plan from unfolding.

When Jesus ascended into heaven, He didn't leave us as orphans. He gave us His Holy Spirit, and that same power is at work within us right now.

What are you struggling with today, dear one? What are you doubting that God can do? Write out the words "Jesus can do anything" and stick them somewhere you'll see them every morning. Let them be the first Truth you encounter each day.

I love how Paul closes this prayer with a declaration that God's glory is infinite, stretching back through every generation before Paul ever put pen to paper, and extending forward into eternity. There is no stopping our God. May you walk boldly in that Truth today and carry the light of Jesus everywhere you go!
